Ronni Crooks guitaresse

" of the world's top female guitar talents."  -- NAMM

"...beautiful and remarkably talented." -- The Music Paper

" accomplished guitarist utilizing speed, double-tracking harmonies, hammer-ons and
interesting chord progressions; she is a highly sophisticated artist." -- Guitar Player Magazine

"...attracted huge crowds after playing  a series of blistering Jeff Beck/Steve Morse-inspired sets at
the Frankfurt Music Fair." -- Music & Sound

Whether as a session player, fronting her own Ronni Crooks Band, or as a longtime member of the band TOYS, Ronni Crooks is remembered by anyone who ever heard her play. On January 1, 2012, the music world lost one of the premiere women players to ever pick up a guitar. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
May she be remembered and live on through the music she left behind.

You were on the very short list of people I was always happy to matter what! Hangin and jammin with you and Jon at the house in Bay Shore, and Carvel swaries, will always be happy memories. Where ever you are, I wish you all the peace and happiness that you deserve and that sometimes eluded you in life. See ya soon...but not too soon : ) xo Al

Ronni was one of those rare people you couldn't help notice. She had great looks, an acerbic sense of humor, and had to be one of the best guitar players I've ever heard. Not only did I have the privilege to be her friend, but I was also one of her biggest fans.

My wife Jill and I were lucky enough to met and know Ronnie for a while in the late 1990s. We even got to jam a few times with Ronnie & Jon. That was such fun. You, my dear, will be missed by so many. We're holding court on Earth until we meet with you once again in a better space. Eric C. Rohrbaugh

What can I say after playing with you for 20+ years? What a heartbreaking loss of an amazing talent and person. God must be starting one hell of a band of angels with you and Linda Marso both up there. We sure had some great times. It was a privilege working with you guys.
